What is the Florida Blue Lounge?
The Florida Blue Lounge is an air conditioned relaxation space available to registered guests that has access to complementary drinks and the mosaic Creation activity.
Where is the Florida Blue Lounge?
The Florida Blue Lounge is located in the back of the Morocco Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. This used to be the site of Restaurant Marrakesh, which closed in 2020.
Why is the Florida Blue Lounge at Epcot?
Since the closure of Restaurant Marrakech, Disney has repurposed this space several times, including as a Disney World passholder lounge, Kidcot Fun Spot, and now the Florida Blue Lounge. Starting in August of 2024, Florida Blue (Florida’s Blue Cross Blue Shield healthcare plan) became a sponsor of the lounge for the 2024 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
When is the Florida Blue Lounge open?
The Florida Blue Lounge is open during Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival from August 29 to November 23, 2024. During the festival, it’s open daily from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Is the Florida Blue Lounge free to enter?
In short, yes. There is no charge to enter the lounge and anyone can gain access after registering.
How do I Register for the Florida Blue Lounge?
To enter the Florida Blue Lounge, Disney World guests need to register with Florida Blue. Only one person in your party needs to register. Once registered, you can bring in an unlimited number of guests into the lounge.
To register, open the My Disney Experience app and search for “Florida Blue Lounge”. Click the first search result and use the link on that page to go to the registration site. Registration is free, but you do have to give your name, email address, and zip code, which may be used by Florida Blue and third parties. At the registration site, it says that by registering you consent to receive e-mail marketing communications, including from a licensed insurance agent. Once you’re registered, you’ll get a Florida Blue Lounge Guest Pass on your phone. Show this pass to the cast members at the entrance, and they will let you into the lounge. The Disney cast members outside the lounge can also help you register and walk you through the process step-by-step. They recommend saving a screenshot of the Guest Pass on your phone so you can easily find the pass if you return to the lounge, which you can do as many times as you want through the end of the festival.
What can you do in the Florida Blue Lounge?
There are many things guests can do in the lounge. Most guests use it as a place to relax in cool air conditioned space and sip on some free beverages. Here is a list of some of the features of the Florida Blue Lounge:

What is the Mosaic Tile Charm Creation Activity at the Florida Blue Lounge?
Every day starting at 1:00 PM, guests of the Florida Blue Lounge can create their own mosaic tile charm. All of the raw materials are provided for free by Disney World and Florida Blue.
Here is the process:
- Get in line for the activity
- Select up to 10 pieces of tile for your mosaic
- Choose the shape of your mosaic from 6 shape options
- An attendant will make a mold for your mosaic in a sandbox
- Arrange your tiles within the sandbox mold
- An attendant will fill the mold with plaster
- In 10-15 minutes, your mosaic will harden
- An attendant will wrap your mosaic in bubble wrap and give you a bag to carry it in
- You will also get a ribbon you can use to hang your mosaic
How much does the Mosaic Tile Activity Cost?
There is no charge. It’s free to guests of the Florida Blue Lounge.
