A new film, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, is now open in Epcot. Located in the France pavilion, the film is narrated by beloved actress Angela Lansbury, who played Mrs. Potts in the original, animated film. The film gives a twisted take on the story of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (SEE SPOILER at end of article). As the story progresses, guests can sing along to snippets of their favorite songs from the original animated film. Run time is 15 minutes.
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will share the theater with the long-running film Impressions de France.
Before singing along with Belle, guests can peruse an exhibit that showcases costumes, props, and other items from film and dance productions.
SPOILER: In the twisted take on Beauty and the Beast, a familiar, and previously antagonistic character, Le Fou, is seen in a different light as the narrator explains how he actually worked behind the scenes to help bring Belle and the Beast together.
