We found the best crepes in Disney World. Oui! You heard that right.
La Crêperie de Paris is a table service restaurant in the France Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase. It’s tucked deep into the Pavilion back by Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. The menu features both savory galettes and sweet crepes, and a selection of authentic French hard ciders. Try a bit of everything by ordering the Prix Fixe Menu which comes with soup or salad, your choice of one savory galette (entree crepes that are made with buckwheat flour), one dessert crepe, and one hard cider or soft drink, for $39.95. Or go a la carte and order what you like, which is what we did.
For our entree we shared the Chèvre galette. This dish was delicious! 5 out 5 gold baguettes! Seriously so fantastic that we just kept telling each other how good it was after every bite. The galette itself was perfectly cooked with a toasty, nutty flavor from the buckwheat flour complementing the salty, creamy goat cheese filling. While the spinach and walnuts added a nice freshness, more nuttiness, and texture. It was so flavorful. I started taking smaller bites to make it last longer! This had us both exclaiming that we would be back just for this galette. Definitely try this one! It was our favorite of the day.
For our dessert crepe we both agreed on the Banana Caramel Beurre Salé. The star of the show was the salted butter caramel sauce that bathed the sweet, ripe banana slices. The sauce added a delicious richness to the dish, and was the standout flavor. The crepe encasing the filling was perfectly cooked and its delicate buttery texture enhanced the overall effect of the dessert, partnering well with the creaminess of the banana. There was plenty of filling to make every bite sweet. It was a perfect ending to the meal.
Apart from the food, the service was excellent and the dining area featured a pleasant and comfortably lit interior design. Although the space was crowded with tables seating either two or four, the high ceilings and windows at the front made the space feel more spacious and let in plenty of natural light. Bench seating lined the side wall and a handful of booths were available in the back near the kitchen.
As for dining reservations, we were lucky enough to get a same day reservation on the My Disney Experience app. While the restaurant sometimes has a walk-up list available, we recommend getting reservations ahead of time if it’s a must-do for you. If reservations are unavailable, there is a quick service window at the restaurant called Crêpes À Emporter where you can order from a smaller selection of savory galettes and sweet crepes. You can also get cold refreshments like milkshakes and single scoop ice cream. The window opens at 9:00 AM, making it one of the few quick service eateries on the World Showcase that opens before 11:00 AM. At the time of writing, it shares the same hours as the restaurant, 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Overall, we had a wonderful first experience at La Crêperie de Paris. Sharing two crepes made for a great light lunch option. For dinner, we’d likely each get an entree, and share a dessert. We can’t wait to go back to try more delicious crepes and a hard cider or two!
