The 2020 International Festival of the Arts is now underway at Epcot. One of the first food items we wanted to try was the Vanilla, Rose Water, and Pistachio Panna Cotta. It’s a dessert item available at the Masterpiece Kitchen in the Canada pavilion of the World Showcase. It’s also part of Epcot’s Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine. The price is $8.
It was so pretty we didn’t want to cut into its candy shell. Once we did, though, we discovered a creamy interior. We really enjoyed the mix of flavors! It was garnished with what we’d call a pistachio crumble (the green on the plate) and drops of berry jam.
To complete the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, pick up a free festival passport at one of the food booths or shops, then collect your stamps by purchasing five of the featured items at participating booths. Be sure to get your passport stamped at each booth and you’ll get a Complimentary Culinary Treat at Decadent Delights in the Showcase Plaza. The full list of menu items on the Walk includes the Deconstructed BLT and the Almond Frangipane at the Showcase Plaza, the Seared Corvina at the German pavilion, the Pan-Seared Scallop at the American Adventure, and of course the Panna Cotta we tried at the Canada pavilion.
