HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Does Hollywood Studios have fireworks?

Yes… kind of. There are three shows that feature small amounts of fireworks. Wonderful World of Animation is a light show projected onto the Chinese Theater in the middle of the park. It lasts about 11 minutes and has a small fireworks display at the end. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is another light show at the Chinese Theater that is currently not running, but may return at some point. It lasts about 14 minutes and features Star Wars music and some pyrotechnics throughout. Fantasmic Nighttime Show is another show that features fireworks. It takes place in an amphitheater with limited seating. It’s primarily a live action show combined with a laser light show projected onto water fountains. There are some small pyrotechnics throughout the 30-minute show and a brief, approximately 1 minute, fireworks display as part of the finale.

Does Hollywood Studios have a parade?

No. While there are a number of live action street performances and stage shows, there is no scheduled parade with floats that runs through the streets of the park like there are at Magic Kingdom. Occasionally, characters and bands may march through a limited section of the park, but these are typically unannounced.

Does Hollywood Studios have water rides?

No. None of the rides at Hollywood Studios have water components.

Does Hollywood Studios sell beer?

Yes. Almost all of the eateries in the park serve beer. The most common beers are Budweiser, Bud Light, and Yuengling, although some restaurants have other brands and craft beers. The BaseLine Tap House in the Grand Avenue area house has about 20 beers on tap.

Does Hollywood Studios have rides?

Of course! Some of the best thrill rides at Disney World are at Hollywood Studios, including Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Other rides include Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Star Tours, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania, and Swirling Alien Saucers.


MAGIC KINGDOM

Does Magic Kingdom have lockers?

Yes. All of the Disney World parks have lockers. The lockers in Magic Kingdom are located in the front of the park, just past the park entrance on the right. There are three sizes, small, large, and jumbo, that cost $10, $12, and $15 per day, respectively. Pay at self-service kiosks using cash or credit to get a printout with your locker number and combination. To pay with a MagicBand, you need to see a Cast Member for assistance. On busy days, the lockers can sell out.

Does Magic Kingdom have beer/alcohol?

Yes. However, Magic Kingdom has the least amount of alcoholic beverages of all the parks. Some places that serve drinks with alcohol are The Diamond Horseshoe, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Plaza Restaurant, and Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.

Does Animal Kingdom have rides?

Does Animal Kingdom serve alcohol?

Yes. Many of the restaurants, markets, snack huts, and lounges sell alcoholic beverages. You can find beer, wine, and mixed drinks at many eateries. Satu’li Canteen carries a variety of ales. Pongu Pongu sells a Mo’ara margarita. Harambe Market offers sangria and pina colada shaved ice. Flame Tree BBQ sells vodka lemonade. Even Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery sells Irish coffee with whiskey. The Safari Bar and the Nomad Lounge specialize in alcoholic beverages.

Does Animal Kingdom have a parade?

Yes. There are several animal encounters and exhibits, and even a full blown safari. During your visit, you may see birds, lions, tigers, elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, gorillas and more. They even have otters! The safari is a tour around a wildlife reserve in an open-air vehicle. It lasts about 18 minutes and offers the opportunity to see over 30 animal species.

Does Animal Kingdom do fireworks?

No. Animal Kingdom is the one park that never does fireworks because the pyrotechnics would scare the animals. However, there are two nighttime shows. Tree of Life Awakenings is a projection light show on the Tree of Life set to an original musical score. Rivers of Light features floating set pieces with water fountains and a light show set to music. This 17-minute show on Discovery River is very popular and seating is limited.

Yes. A Starbucks stand is located in the Showcase Plaza next to Refreshment Port. A permanent location is said to be in the works, but has yet to be announced. The former Starbucks location, Fountain View, was closed down as part of Epcot’s extensive renovations and redesign.

Frozen Ever After does have small drops. There are also two splash pads at the park, one on the main walkway to the World Showcase and the other on the main walkway to Mission: Space.
